By any other name

“The checks are intended as a form of relief for those who are facing economic hardship as a result of the coronavirus pandemic, and approximately 90% of Americans will receive them, according to research from the Tax Policy Center.” So says the Motley Fool

That’s the stimulus checks by the way.

I guess if you call it stimulus, it’s more palatable spending money you don’t have to send money to millions of people who don’t need it.

Yes, there is a crisis, yes the economy is heading south, but is that an excuse to throw about billions and trillions of dollars in debt without a modicum of concern for the long-term impact?
