My Opinion

How everything and nothing changes

“The liberals, on the other hand, had to be fed idealism.” “The businessman has influence because he contributes money. The liberal excerpts influence because he is articulate.”

James A Rowe Jr, former aide to FDR on strategy for Truman’s 1948 campaign. From Truman, by David McMullough

I have to admit, the liberal is full of idealism and is articulate in spreading that (naive) idealism to the masses devoid of any desire to consider the truth or consequences of that idealism.
