Federal Debt: Total Public Debt as Percent of Gross Domestic Product
2015:Q1: 102.84859 Percent of GDP

That’s worse than five of the seven countries on the USA Today list of countries near bankruptcy. Only Jamaica and Greece have a higher debt to GDP ratio.

  1. Notice how quickly the silent majority jumps all over this important subject. It shows not a lack of interest but a lack of control over the GNP or the amount of control we have over our nations spending. Thank you for the input – it helps to push back on spending issues that our government seems so willing to continue.
